Our Story
Diversified Container Services isn’t just another dumpster rental company. We’re a locally owned and operated team serving Hampton Roads with dependable service, clean equipment, and straightforward pricing.
Why We Got Started
DCS began with a simple idea: homeowners and contractors deserve a dumpster company that answers the phone, arrives on time, and avoids confusing “mystery” fees.
From the beginning, we have focused on reliable service and honest communication. We like to say we’re “releasing the Sasquatch” across the 757 by bringing legendary reliability and serious capacity to every driveway and job site we serve.
Locally Owned
DCS provides clean, reliable, driveway-safe dumpsters for residential and commercial projects throughout the Tidewater area. We offer 12, 20, and 30-yard containers, so you can choose the right size for everything from a small yard cleanup to a major construction project.
Always On Time
A project can quickly fall behind when a dumpster delivery or pickup misses its scheduled time. That’s why we focus on prompt delivery, dependable equipment swaps, and flexible pickup dates.
As a result, your crew can keep moving, your job site can stay organized, and your driveway can remain clear. We also work closely with homeowners and contractors to understand each site’s needs before we deliver a container.
Clean And Organized
At DCS, we believe reliable waste service should make your project easier, not more complicated. Our team helps homeowners clear out unwanted materials and helps contractors keep construction sites safe, efficient, and organized.
Whether you’re cleaning out a garage, renovating a home, removing yard debris, or managing a commercial job site, we provide a practical solution for the cleanup.
The DCS Way
Why the Sasquatch?
Because a good dumpster rental service should be like a Sasquatch sighting: big, impactful, and something people talk about (but way easier to find). We’ve built our reputation on being “Sasquatch-sized” in our commitment to you.

The story behind the mascot is not something a marketing team made up around a conference table. It began decades ago with a young boy who was fascinated by the possibility of the unexplained.
That boy was Dave Hershel VP at DBS Staffing, a sister company with DCS Containers.
